Ottery Community Theatre
Buy your tickets now for the OCT Summer Production on 13/14 July and raise money for Hospiscare
Ottery Community Theatre is delighted to present an evening of original one act plays, to be performed at The Institute, Fri 13 and Sat 14 July at 7.30pm. We will donate to Hospiscare – a wonderful charity that provides care and support for people with terminal illnesses – a share of profits from the performances and all money from the raffle. Don’t miss a fantastic evening out while raising money for a worthy local charity!
Like last year’s outstanding show, you can look forward to three short-but-sweet plays, all written by OCT members. First up is Laurie Palmer’s “Battle Royle”, featuring six skateboards, a town hall square and plenty of action! For history enthusiasts, “The Crucifix” by Jack Coates explores an Ottery family’s view of the English Civil War between the Cavaliers and Roundheads. And once you’ve won plenty in the raffle, it’s time for Jill Machin’s “The Knitting Circle”, which stars four ladies of a certain age who meet up weekly for a knit and chat – but some begin to crave something a little less routine.
The entire evening will be a delight for the whole family, so bring your grandparents and grandchildren! Tickets are only £10 adults and £8 under 16s, which includes a delicious Ploughman’s Supper. Don’t forget to bring your own bottle. Get your tickets from Pearson’s in Silver Street, Ottery St Mary, by emailing email@example.com or by phoning (01404) 814988.
